Ella has been involved with WOW for 7 years now. Her home congregation is St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, South Carolina. I live with my mom, my dad and my younger sister. But I currently attend college at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Before becoming a staff member at WOW, I was a guest for 5 years. I also did volunteer work at animal shelters back home in South Carolina. My home church also provided ways of getting involved in the community such as, Home Works or serving food at the local ministries. My work with teaching younger kids’ ballet and babysitting a lot, helped me form a confidence about myself that in turn helped me to become a better leader. Being a part of WOW, I hope to make changes in people’s personal lives. I want to brighten up anybody and everybody’s way. My favorite thing ever is when people remember me year after year when I return.
Some fun facts about myself are, I love the color purple, my absolute favorite animal is the elephant, I did ballet for 16 years and am now studying to be a physical therapist. I listen to a lot of chill, acoustic music, I am vegetarian and my favorite TV show is Friends.

She loves having deep conversations about life and faith, and is always open to listen to new perspectives. She strives to see other’s points of view and how it shapes their outlook on the world.
